Marc Camille Chaimowicz

Born in post-war Paris but based in London, Chaimowicz made performance installations in the 70s such as Celebration? Realife at Gallery House, London and Enough Tiranny at the Serpentine Gallery. Jean Fisher wrote that his work was ‘a modest and tender exploration of the microcosmic world of everyday experience’. (Fisher in Past Imperfect, 1983: 5)
